In all of the rooms in our home, there are certain chores that don't need to be done every week or biweekly, once a month is enough. I space them out over the 4 weeks of the month so no one week is overloaded. Today's post will cover the monthly chores for 5 of the rooms.
Laundry Room
- Wash out the laundry room frig, wipe down door
- Wipe down washer & dryer
- Shake out storage baskets, Clorox & clean thermos we use to take water out to the animals
- Sweep & mop floor
Kitchen
- Wash out frig, wipe down frig door
- Sweep & mop floor, vacuum under ocen storage drawer
- Clean stove top & burner pans, clean oven door
- Clean sink drains w/ baking soda, vinegar, & boiling water
Living Room
- Clean picture window, glass front door, sliding glass door
- Remove books from shelves & dust
- Move trunk to sweep & mop
- Remove cushions from couch to vacuum, fluff cushions & turn over
Master Bedroom
- Wipe down bed skirt with a dryer sheet
- Vacuum around bed posts & underneath head board
Master Bath/Closet
- Sweep & mop floor
- Clean plastic basket plunger sets in
- Clean drains w/ baking soda, vinegar, & boiling water
- Remove items from floor of closet to sweep & mop
