The deep cleaning chore list for our Master Bedroom had to be tweaked too, due to the new piece of furniture we replaced our bookshelves with. Our bedroom is one room I don't move all the furniture in. Our king-size bed is so big and solid that it is next to impossible to move unless we take it apart. DH does help me remove the mattress and box springs so I can vacuum underneath the bed frame. It also gives me a chance to wash our bed skirt. Our new entertainment cabinet will also be impossible to move, so I cleaned really well behind it before we moved it into place.
Master Bedroom
- Clean windows & blinds, wash curtains
- Move nightstand & desk to vacuum
- Vacuum floor, around edges of room
- Remove mattress & box springs, vacuum underneath bed frame
- Vacuum off mattress, box springs, & chair
- Dust furniture inside & out
- Dust walls, knick knacks, & pictures
- Remove glass shelving from entertainment cabinet to clean
- Clean lamps, lamp shades, & light fixture
- Wash bed skirt, comforter, & doilies
