I am a 40 something (closer to 50 than 40) stay at home wife, mother, and a substitute teacher. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for almost 30 years. We have 2 beautiful daughters; one an angel in heaven, one a blessing here on earth.
We live on a little piece of land we were blessed with the opportunity to buy. We try to live simple and frugally as we can. We have garden beds where we grow veggies organically. We also have a chicken coop where we raise backyard chickens.
I love all the domestic arts that many of the modern women today frown upon. I love keeping a neat, organized home for my husband to come home to after a tiring day of work. I enjoy cooking and baking for my family. I like to open our home to people so they can enjoy a meal and some fellowship.
