Unique Cleaning Tools

While I don't have specialized cleaning tools, I do use some very unique items to clean with. They are just everyday items that can be found in any bathroom. They can be used in many different ways. What are they? 

Yes, you are seeing right - toothbrushes and Q-Tips. I told you they were unique. Of course the toothbrushes are old worn-out ones, but they still have life to give to cleaning. Most everyone has Q-Tips around the house and they are perfect for detailed cleaning jobs. 

Here are some ways I use these unique cleaning tools:

Cleaning uses for toothbrushes. 

Toothbrushes

• Spray a little dusting spray on them and use them to dust the weave on baskets. It helps clean out the little crevices the weave makes. 
• Need to clean around the spigot and water handles on a sink. Spray cleaner around the bottom and use the toothbrush to scrub any gunk around the bottom off. They are flexible enough to get into all the little places you can't with a rag or scrubbing sponge. 
• Need to clean the corners in your shower. The toothbrush is good at getting in the tight corners and removing any grim. 
• Need to scrub something that has grating on it. Toothbrush are small enough to clean the grating and the spaces in between. 
• Need to clean the grim off of a small item. The toothbrush is the perfect size to do so, without having to use a big rag. 

Cleaning uses for Q-Tips

Q-Tips

• Q-Tips are great for dusting in between the keys of a key board. If you put a little keyboard safe cleaner on them, they actually can clean the sides of the keys. 
• Have a small crevice of some item that needs to be cleaned, like around a screen door. A Q-Tip is perfect for getting the job done. Spray cleaner in the crevice and clean it out with a Q-Tip. 
• When cleaning a knick-knack with a lot of tight spaces, a Q-Tip can get into those spots. 
• Need to clean the corners of a picture frame or some other framed item. The Q-Tip can get into the corners and clean anything dust that may be in the corner. 

I am sure these are just of the few ways that toothbrushes and Q-Tips can be used for cleaning. I will look forward to share any new ways I can find with you, if you will do the same.
