Our Simple Home: DD's Closet/ Our Storage Closet

When we remade one bedroom into an office, we had to remove a closet from it to. However, we were able to add that closet space onto DD's closet space since they butted up against each other to make one long closet. The back half we use for storage space and the front half is DD's clothes closet.

It has been amazing at how stuff we were able to store in the back of the closet. We have several tubs of keepsakes, clothes of DD's from when she was little, toys, and books. On top of those we are to fit our outside chairs cushions, not to mention room for all of our jackets and winter coats. We also have room on top for more keepsakes. There was even room to put in a few crates to create a little pantry storage.

The front part of the closet is for DD's clothes storage. She also has storage on top for some of her stuff. We also have plastic storage drawers for her clothes that are folded, since we had no room to add a chest of drawers in her room. We also put in stackable wire shelving for her shoes and use crates for more storage and for dirty clothes.

Well, with this post the tour of our little home has come to an end. The most important thing to take away from the tour is that our home is filled with a lot of nice things, but it is the love and care put into the things that make our little house a home.

Loving our simple life lived in our simple little home filled with love, laughter, and faith!
